Carleton House

Fort Huachuca was established in March 1877 as Camp Huachuca.

Carleton House was built in 1880. In the 1970's and 80's, it was the focus of a haunting involving an Army Colonel and his family, although others had reported problems.

Phenomena included the apparition of a young woman, feelings of unease, disembodied voices, loud crashes, movement of objects, the doorbell ringing of its own accord, electrical interference.
